A little back story

I've been passionate about creating things and asking a million questions since I was a little girl (a parent's dream, I'm sure). When I started working, I realized I could use that creativity and determination to help others. So, I channeled that energy into 15 years of working in support roles for inspiring people, but it wasn't until I was introduced to UX/UI design that I found something I genuinely enjoy doing. I love the idea of creating products for real people through research.

Things I am proud of

Getting my Degree at 31

I graduated with a Business Administration degree from The University of Florida while working full time. It took me 6 years, sleepless nights and a ton of coffee, but it was worth it.

Keeping a Promise

At 11 while living in Uruguay, I used to sell my mom's baked goods door-to-door to help my family, and promised to take my dad to Greece someday. Took a while, but in 2022 we took that family trip.

Using All Resources

I was able to help my brother buy his first home through working in Real Estate and building good relationships with colleagues and clients. I'm proud of him and happy to be a part of his journey.

Fun facts

I've lived in 3 different countries. I was born in Uruguay, lived in Ecuador for 6 years, and have been living in the US since I was 13 years old.

I love movies and can recite almost every line of The Bodyguard and Child's Play 2.

I enjoy traveling light, and backpacked for a month in Europe with nothing but, well, a backpack.

UX Design Bootcamp

And for the latest chapter in this exciting journey, UX Design bootcamp at BrainStation, where I've found my true passion and met some amazing people along the way. I can't wait to see what's next.

Met Great People

Working alongside my classmates gave me a great opportunity to learn from them, their varied points of views, and their insightful feedback.

Completed a 24 hr Hackathon!

We were given a real problem to solve through design and development, and I got the chance to work with a brilliant group of people to make it happen.

Got Selected as a TA

I was selected by my bootcamp educators as a teaching assistant to deliver lectures, grade assignments, and individually mentor students next cohort!
